Its probably been answered before about the Xmas Silent Hill tune from extreme. I know it's from DDRMAX2, I know it's "3rd Christmas Mix", I know it's by Thomas Howard, but it has to be a mix or a remix of some Silent Hill tune, and I want to know what it is. Anyone? |

1). It is, it came from Silent Hill, which was introduced into one of the prior mixes of DDR. It was 5th mix I believe.
2) Where did the song come from? Good question, I don't know. I suggest Google. |

Silent Hill came from 3rd Mix. [/nerdiness]
It may be a full version, considering Tom Howard does other music aside from Bemani. I really don't know though.

this will make me sound retarded but in the instruction manual for DDRMaxx, it said that Naoki wrote it in addition to other songs under different names such as Exotic Ethnic by Reven-G. _________________

Thomas Howard is another psudonym for Naoki. Welcome to DDR...
Also, a long version of the song exists on DDR Party Collection. Play the game on Dec. 24th and it will play during the credits.

Whenever I hear Silent Hill, I can't help to think of the bloody, bloody game of the same name. Two totally opposite things...
As for Naoki, if had used his real name for all the songs, no newbie would ever buy DDR. Who wants a game where 75% of the songs are by the same guy (girl?) _________________

Pump It Up. Banya.
The best part is, they don't hide behind a bunch of bullshit aliases. When they make something, they let you know. _________________

This will explain everything. The list of songs is immense.
Edit: The only thing I believe is wrong in that is that he is listed as STM 200, who was actually a fan who made Paranoia Eternal. That was not Naoki, but I guess we can give these guys a little slack. |

The song you are looking for is Silent Hill (3rd Christmas Mix), which was introduced in DDRMAX2, but not playable outside oni courses.
Silent Hill was introduced in DDR 3rd Mix.
Naoki is a guy.
Thomas Howard is an actual person. Listen very closely to La Senorita and HIA57MG. I'm 98% sure that's him.
Naoki has many names. However, Naoki writes many songs that are voiced by others, who usually get credit. Thomas Howard and Kosaka Riyu come to mind. _________________

Here's an interesting thing for some of you who want a hard holiday song. ^^ Recently at BemaniStyle, a remix of The Legend of Max entitled "Maxx Christmas" was released by a simfile maker. It's quite good with a humorous background. Go get it now. |
