How do you take songs that have their speed altered (ie 1.5 music speed, .7 music speed), extract their Mp3 (is asking about the Mp3's that come with the DWI/SM's illegal on this fourm? I didn't see anything about that specifially in the FAQ.) so you can listen to the sped up/slowed down version of the song any time you want?
Sorry for the vaugeness of the question, but I would really like to know E1.gif

o_o Let me rephrase.

Ok, so I know that you can speed up and slow songs down in stepmania.

NOW. I want to be able to take the sped up/slowed down versions of these songs, and listen to them any time I want and/or put them on a CD.

How do I do this? Do anyone get where I'm getting at?

Go into your volume controls (usually in the system tray in the corner) and go to the recording options. Set the active one to "stereo mixer" or something along those lines.

Run Stepmania, and select the song and its speed. Alt-tab out to Windows.

Open up Sound Recorder (start->programs->accessories->entertainment). Press record, then alt-tab into Stepmania and play the song.

Doing cutting and saving it into MP3 afterwards will require another program, like GoldWave or something along those lines. Sound Recorder only saves as WAV, as far as I know.
