ddr imposters

up until a while ago, i believed that most of the high scores on my local machine were done by THE Take. however i found out that they were all done by someone who uses the same alias on the machines. so far, he hasn't claimed to be him, but it just annoys me that he uses the same name. hes a nice guy and a good ddr player, so how should i approach the situation? has anything similar happened at your arcades?

People always use artificial names/initials at my arcade. Do'n't know why, but they do.

In regards to the thing, just blow it off. It's what I always do... not really that big a deal, but if you do feel compelled to find out if he is the Taka, just ask him point blank. No point beating around a bush, right?

The button on the 2nd player's side of the machine I play at says "Take" on it. I'm not sure whether they mean that it's reserved for Take, or whether Take came in, played on the machine, and his awesomeness implanted itself into the machine or what.

well...here in Nor Cal, we don't have any idiots like the guy who claims to be "TAKE"...I guess over here in Nor Cal, it's just common sense to just use your regular name or maybe a funny name or hell...even a nickname...gosh...that really sucks that people have to think they're "really funny" by using another player's name...

well, maybe he as well uses the handle take for his own reasons. you know, how many ppl's name who can get on the list is Max? plenty. it wouldnt be surprising to see other ppl use the same name.

on a side note, my name is not Max.

I guess I could see someone using their real name if it's only 4 letters but my name has 8 letters so it wouldn't really fit, that's why I use the alias plus it's pretty much an abreviation of the name I use here so I guess ppl would know who I am from that since a lot of ppl don't know my actual name.

Yeah, in Santa Cruz, Ca at the boardwalk the top score for pop4 difficult is "ANUS" haha, awesome.

I can never get a high score on my local Extreme machine, so I don't really have to worry about it.

If I ever do, it would simply be GARY. One way to tell if the score is actually Take's, check to see if it is 98684190. Few imposters could get a score like that!
