Memory cards from PS2 to arcade...

So I made this cool little routine on edit mode on my unmodded PS2 (well I think it's cool anyway), and I thought, "Hey great! Now I can go try it out in public and see what people think!"

I put it in the machine and - no edit available. One of the players there told me it only takes Japanese edits. So I'm wondering... Is that true? And if so, what do I need to do to get an edit on the PS2 to work on the DDR Extreme in the arcade.

Any help?
