NTPad + SP2 = Works?

I currently have a RedOctane Ignition 2.0 Pad and am currently using the NTPad drivers since it has the axes thing. I was thinking of upgrading to Service Pack 2 but then I saw something talking about untested drivers and it removing them or something like that. If I upgrade to Service Pack 2, will NTPad still work?
