Stepmania on Hallows Eve? Can it be done?

Well, basically I was thinking about putting together a little Halloween sort of thing with stepmania all set up in my garage. I can get videos and pics and all that.

My idea is this

-Me and a few of my friends (probably one or two, maybe three. I haven't told any of them yet XD) can set up my TV (27", big enough for such an occasion) and my PC out in the garage.
-The TV will be placed on a makeshift TV stand .
-My surround sound system will be out there, so it'll sound very nice and can be loud if desired.
-My mom will still be giving away candy at the door XD
-ANYONE can come in and play a little, all I would ask is for them to remove their shoes for the actual DDR, as I have ignition pads.
-A LOT of people trick-or-treat in my area, so this may or may not be a good idea.
-I'll have a sign outside saying how anyone is welcome
-I'll have a bunch of water off to the side for people to take or for people who want to stay awhile.
-Maybe some food as well


The ONLY problem I'm seeing is my goddamn EMS USB 2. One of the controller ports stopped working. I'm good at soldering. Anyone have an idea? Maybe some wires came loose, it'd be nice if that was actually the problem.

Anyway. Comments? Ideas? Precautions? Help?

I also was thinking the signs may hang on the garage itself, when it was a little lowered to allow a place to stick the tape . Or I may just put some at the railing of the stairs that lead to the front door. Those signs will say things like "All Welcome!". Maybe I should get some kind of saying to draw people in?

I'm doing something very similar for tonight's trick-or-treat session.

I'm putting a TV on a tray table (done it before) and connecting my modded PS2 to it with DDR Ex (JP). I'll set it up outside, as it's looking to be a night without rain tonight. I'll impress all the little kiddies. Yay!
