Wow...since pitch is fairly irrelevant in rap, the only thing I can think of for it to detect is whether or not you're saying something at the right time. And the thought of how easy it would be to completely make shit up makes this game sound awesome.

I haven't played it, buuuut...it doesn't seem like it'd be intended as a serious game. Kinda like Karaoke Revolution. You REALLY don't need to be good for Karaoke Revolution to be easy...just need pitch and the ability to hum.
However.
The game's intended to be fun. It's like Para Para...you could probably beat everything within 15 minutes of playing that game if you're any good at rhythm games, but the ability to have fun and freestyle or learn routines is the MAIN focus of the game. With this, maybe freestyle rapping can come into effect? *shrugs*

I heard it got a pretty bad review simply because all the songs are covers, censored, and sometimes have changed verses. Even tho all the songs most people who listen to rap should know the words to, its hard for people who dont know the words to learn. Even if you know the songs the changed verses can mess you up. I still might pick it up tho, simply because dj Green Lantern is in it.

If I recall correctly, this was for Gamecube and Gamecube doesn't have Karaoke Revolution. Oh and the mic for this game I heard will also work with the mic that's included with Mario Party 6.

well, the version that we sell at eb is for ps2...don't think it's out for game cube unless i'm mistaken

Wow, the first words I heard about this game was that it was for the Gamecube. I remember there was a thread here or in Consoles about it.
