Okay, again I'm asking the same question. But before someone says use a adapter, I dont need to use an USB adapter. The PIU pad is made for the computer. Dont believe me, than take a look: http://www.redoctane.com/pumpituppad.html
Now, how can I use this pad with stepmania.
ps: Do not lock this please |

well if it is the right kind of USB device, you just plug it in and remap your pad after you switch SM over to pump it up mode. you usually don't use drivers for USB devices, as they are for the most part plug and play. the pad may only be usable with certain software though (aka the official PIU for PC game), but I doubt it. |

exactly, one of my friends has told me that you can only use the pad with The Fusion or the Prex3. But supposedly you can use a converter to remap the buttons to work on stepmania. I just dont know what converter it is |

i had a usb PIU pad... it seemed to work just fine. i plugged it in and it saw it as a game controller. went into SM and set all the buttons to the right spots and bam it worked. im not sure what type of pad it was exactly...but it had usb and was plug and play. _________________
