There is an arcade in wisconsin *coughjennythecatcough* that has one. If you have a double disc install extreme, it will boot in a solo machine.
Why is there an OLD konami banner on the side?
EDIT: This upseted me "It is also "VGA out ready" so if u have projector in your house that supports Regular res (EGA I believe) u can display it on it, I've done it on a 150" one and looked breath taking. "
edit2: Fixed single to double. _________________

Why do we need DDR Extreme in a solo machine? Now we can't play doubles. Also the seller says Korean arcade games suck, and he says you must bar rape to conquer DDR's hardest songs. I can tell this seller is pretty interested in DDR. I can especially tell by the fact that he mentions that he currently has this machine in his house, however he doesn't seam very involved with the community to openly advocate PIU bashing and bar raping. |

I wonder if Solo's engine automatically warps "Doubles" sets to "6-Panel" sets. It'd be interesting to see/play, actually. |

I have played on one of these machines before, and it doesn't. Its not even supposed to recognize the solo hardware. The corner buttons work as the left and right select buttons, and the corner buttons also work as the 2P left and right buttons. If free play is on, both sides are on (Same for JP, or if there are 2 credits in). _________________

EndOfTomo- DDR Extreme came out late 2002. If I'm not mistaken, Konami changed their logo early in 2003, just after the game came out, so the old Konami banner is ok AFAIK. As for Extreme in a Solo machine... yeah, pretty pointless IMHO. Throwing it in a Solo cabinet isn't going to make Solo steps for all the songs magically appear or something like that.

The konami side art the guy added was an early 90's stripy konami logo. I wasn't talking about the 30th anniversary logo change either. SOLO EXTREME is wonderful if you dont have a DDR 2 P machine, and your sick of 4+ and/or SOLO2000 (Although you shouldn't be sick of the old school rareness of sex0rz). _________________

Yes, we've all seen one of these. There's no need to make a topic about it. Do a search on the forums for "Solo Extreme Machine" or some such, and you'll find what you're looking for.
Often, these Solo machines that are made with double-discs are very screwy. I've played on but one, but that was enough.
That side art is very odd. It shouldn't ever have been on a DDR machine, right? He says it's "Newly applied," too. Very peculiar. This guy obviously knows very little about DDR, though.
Funnily, he left a few of the Solo 2000 stickers on it. _________________

If he removes the SOLO2000 marquee on the bottom of the screen, then it would look pritty ugly having a plexi-glass window looking at the CD Drive and wires of a ddr machine. Whoever he bought the machine obviously had *no* idea where the header (screen sticker) of DDR SOLO 2000 whent. _________________
