Just moved up to standard, big soft mat problem...

I just moved up to standard and I'm having a problem with my mat. Because the arrows are so quick my foot tend to bunch up the mat and move it A LOT. Is there a cheap and quick way to fix this, maybe attaching wood of some type, but how would I do it, tape or what? Anyone got any suggestions?
