ok. i know beginner, basic, and trick are normal members. contributers contribute faqs and such. maniac members are like normals except they mod. vivid members do that thing were they give you previews or something. and edit members dont exist . so what do administrators and staff members do that makes them superior and/or different from maniac members?

As well as that, they also have more power than maniac members. Maniac members = mods, Admins = people who can make new forums, who can make people into mods, who can stage coup d'etats (>.> <.<), Staff Members = people who have stepped down from being mods for whatever reason but remain part of the site/people who do useful things ^^

Vivid members are the people who "bring us bemani" (so arcade owners, people who work with the games, etc etc) Contributers write pretty little articles for us, Maniac members (along with the admins) keep order in the forums and the rest (trick, basic, beginner) are the regular users.

this a new question put its technically about members. how come you guys dont delete accounts? i looked at the member list the other day and theres ppl that have never even posted. you could probably delete the accounts of ppl who havent posted in a year. i know its probably not a huge thing but this way theres not tens of thousands registered members with only 50% of them active.

It's because the forums aren't the only service on this site that require a username/password.

Cutriss is correct. The Machine Locations requires an account to add/edit locations.
