Right now, close the thread, start a new one, and instantly ban anybody who goes in there to complain or argue about stupid stuff. How am I supposed to find useful posts of info when it's filled with nothing but dumbass kids arguing about how they can get 10 greats on max 300, who gives a sh*t, what does that have to do with extreme u.s.? nothing.

F*ckin ban 'em, now, it's complete nonsense.

Lock this thread, ban them, and save the day because I can't possibly be the only person here who's completely f*ckin tired of it. Thank you.

Mods have already been going through handing out warnings. The warning system is entirely private, so you can't really tell.

As a side note, we do have lives and so we aren't always on the boards. So yes, sometimes things get out of control. Maybe in the future it would be better to PM a mod or two instead of coming in here and complaining. I didn't know there was a major problem in the thread until Shinmizu contacted me. I didn't even know about this thread until now. If I was PMed, I would have known about it immediately when I signed on to the boards.

And about the updating the first post thing, yes and no.
There were tidbits of info I found *after searching through pages and pages for an hour or so* such as a description of missions 1-40.

and of course I kept 'trying' to check back, since it wasn't in your first post, and I was wondering if he had ever posted more of them up.

never found updates to that, but I finally gave up looking...it was awful

Sometime next week, I'll work on typing up all the missions. I don't have them all unlocked myself, though, so this will likely take some time. I have 1-50 and a smattering of the Hard missions.

Once all is said and done, though, I'll probably just transplant all that into the FAQ page for ExtremeUS, and possibly work on compiling similar info for the other PS2 mixes.

I slept most of Thursday and had class from 7:20 to 10:00. The thread had grown by over 30 pages in that time... which astounded me. I don't remember any of the previous threads growing that fast, but then I didn't spend much time in Console Games before getting assigned there. I went through with warnings and overquote snipping, and I think a couple of other mods may have gone through earlier or later before Cutriss locked it.

Imagine my surprise this morning when I checked the thread and found it locked. My first thought was "WTF? Is it really that bad?" One quick look at the thread and my question was answered. Cutriss said the lock would last for 24 hours, but will this be enough time for people's tempers to calm down? I definitely want to talk about the game, but I fear that as soon as the sticky's unlocked, the senseless bickering, bitching and flaming will start anew.
