Actually, it sounds more like ITG than "redundant" |

Actually, someone kind of did this already. They installed a computer or whatever in a solo bass cabinet and allowed it to play Stepmania.
This was done in Long island I believe. Blah... _________________

Why are you asking? Are you thinking about selling 1 yourself? I don't own an arcade so the answer for me is no. |

It's not even close to that easy.
Anyway, if you're really interested, there's a topic in the DDRSims forum on BMS.

I would, but I have tendency to be paranoid of the ryth-police that supposedly stalk all bootleg machines! _________________

I noticed something in the options menu about how many tokens it would take to start a game or something, so I guess you could make it into a machine.
Although, I've had this idea for a couple weeks now. Laptop with stepmania, a video card with S video out, a and a USB port. Hook it up to the TV with the S video, and use one of those handy PS2-USB adapters to plug your own pads in and boom, stepmania console. |

There's a customised Stepmania machine in London, England, owned by DDRUK called DanceDX. _________________

I'm sure if it was sold for profit, Konami would clamp down on it (I'm sure it's a matter of time before they clamp down on ITG).[/quote]

That'd be cool if you got rid of the little extra time it gives you to get a perfect. _________________
