Not sure if this has already been posted or not, but I looked through some, and all I saw was xbox -> usb.
Anyone know where to buy a converter to use PS2 pads for computer, im guessing using USB? I've looked around and haven't really found anything. I live in the boston area, and I don't know of any stores around me that hold it, (unless I'm wrong). Are there any stores or online site that will sell this?
(If so... will a cobalt flux work on computer?) |

you are in the wrong forum. I wrote an FAQ in the adapter sticky in DDR Simulators. stepmania and DWI are not console versions, so all discussion about hooking your pads up to your computer goes there.
and to save you trouble, don't use anything you'd buy from an actual store. go online and order an adapter (check my FAQ to see which one works). as far as CF compatibility, it's really hit or miss. sometimes people are lucky and they find that their adapter works with no problems, and other times they find a lag or that it doesn't work at all. so it is not reccomended that you use USB. if you look around on Buy-N-Shop, you might be able to find a parallel port adapter which will work perfectly, but you can only have one pad hooked up at a time with it, and you need to install special drivers. |
