Red Octane Ignition Pad Discussion

The thing is....I played on a CF pad and didn't really care for it. Its a nice pad and all but you cant tell where you are on the pad. So I was wondering if anyone had a foam insert redoctane pad and could tell me if its worth getting. I was either going to get this or just get the redoctane metal pad. If the ignition is worth the 80$ Please tell me so I know to buy it. List any pros and cons while your at it to.
