DDR extreme "Little bi=tch controversy"

Ok I think a topic is needed on this subject.

As everyone knows, DDR extreme has a song called "Little doggy" which at least in the mid-atlantic area has caused alot of problems.

-The six flags machine, banned because of that song title.
-Kings dominion, same happened there (from what I heard)

and now at my own highschool, we had max2 for about a year then upgraded to extreme just at the end of last year.

So why don't we get rid of sports while we are at it? I mean, the machine only has it "Written" a bad word. Where as in team sports, you hear people screaming it all the time, and words much worse then this... I really dont get it.

I just got word that over summer a "Concerned Parent" does not want it in the school because it contains such a bad word. All I can figure is it is just some soccer mom.

I think we should use this thread to help suggest idea's, strategies, to keep our extreme machines and not have to just get rid of them.

Also, tell your own stories of how a song title, or something else ruined your gaming experience.

Thats odd!
My problem with that song is that I ADORE the Specials, and that's their song, just bastardized a bit.

anyway, god, that's nott even that bad a word. I think it's funny that in your post it was changed to 'doggy' though.

The doggy thing was the filter here.

Its a song from DDR 1st mix, and, its not a big of a deal. You said you had a max 2 at your school, and im surprised "Blow My Whistle doggy" didn't bother anyone.

I'm sorry but that's just sad for the High school that went through the crap of having the word doggy changed to doggy just because one "concerned parent" didn't like having the word being seen by his or her daughter...personally that parent should be concerned about the drugs and/or alcohol problems in schools not about the word doggy being in a video game...

I know the song, but what I don't get is at your high school, you had a Max2, which clearly showed the word "bitch" being used to describe a female, but the name of the Song by The Specials is Little Bitch and they get all anal about it?

duh....parents don't pay attention, but they got interested in the game, saw the Song, and freakin blew up. It's a sad world out there. What you can do is tell the parent to tell their kid not to go near the machine, or not to look at it. The song itself doesn't say Little Bi*ch, so it's not like their kid would hear it.....

It's appeared in more than just 1st, Max2, and EX. It's in 5th mix, 2nd mix, 3rd mix thanks to the unlock 2nd mix trick, and 4th mix. Only standard arcade mix it's not in=MAX1.

Little Bitch is a terrible song anyways.

But yes, the concerned parents always have a way about complaining about the wrong things. Having a song with "bitch" in the title is clearly worse than buying GTA3 for my kids.

Honestly, it's not like we're gonna start killing people and causing mass riots over ONE SONG. If they want to be concerned, they should take a look at our dumbf#@k of a president.
