I fucked my knee up once in Karate (my left knee) when I was 10 and now if I stand for massive amounts of time (like over 10 hours straight) or play DDR non-stop for about an hour without sitting or taking more than 5 minutes between breaks it will hurt like a bitch...but it's the only real problem as far as physical pain that I've ever had with DDR. |

I usually get chest pains when I play for a smal;l amount of time, and they don't go away until I stop playing for like 10 minutes, so I really don't know what's good with that. _________________

I have poor blood circulation, so my feet are always numb after sitting in the car before getting to the mall to play. It takes a few rounds to get them moving, and sometimes it hurts. _________________

The top of my foot hurts right now. I play too much, since it seems like I'm hurting somewhere on my feet, ankles, toes or heels at any given time. One thing heals, another acts up.
Oh well, there are worse things I could be doing obsessively. _________________

my boyfriend acually broke his foot on ddr about 6 months ago.... the person before him cracked the 1st player left arrow and when he went to go play he slammed down his foot it went right through. as for me, i was playing ddr for about 5 hours when i decided to play RnP on standard. 30 seconds into the song i had a really sharp pain on the top of my foot. it was killing me, but im such a ddr freak that i kept on playing everyday. i still have a lump on the top of my foot where there shouldnt be one, and it happened like a month ago. it still hurts but i still play.... |

Well I cut my big toe open on my Cobalt Flux pad. That was enjoyable. I never actually noticed it until a few hours later. I retraced my steps and there was blood bloches everywhere Didn't make my mom too happy.
I also use to experience pain in my ankles and feet from playing too long and then going about doing my normal business... that was not enjoyable, but that has stopped now
Oh I also play barefoot and i used to get huge blisters on the bottom of my feet... but now my feet are like shoe leather and I don't have to worry about that anymore _________________

There's no way I would pay for the monitor, I would tell them to get that guy to pay for it. That's BS, the guy could of just tried to explain the coin line to you, I have been cut before by people not knowing the coin line, and I have cut people when i first started. IMHO it's more productive to watch your spot in line, or just tell the person about the coin line.
To stay on topic, I get back pains when trying to pass new hard songs. I guess it's the nonfluid hacking at the arrows. It hasn't happened in a while though, besides that, I always get blisters! I played in sandles once and that was the worse for them. I get them on the sides of my toes and feet. |
