I have an older metal ddr pad with a 9 pin serial connection for the control box. Well someone ran over the control box and basically ripped out all the wires. I was wondering 2 things. Since my ps2 is broken and I pretty much play stepmaniaX exclusively, is there a 9pin to xbox control box out there? I bought a control box from lik-sang but its worthless (db15) and it uses a ribbon cable instead of colored wires so I dunno how I'd be able to swap the vga port to a serial port. (15pin to 9pin) My other question is, is there a diagram so I can just go ahead and destroy an xbox controller and solder in the wires from the pad, fore going a control box?

I tried to search, but found nothing, so if this is a repost, please point me to the right thread
