I can't seem to pass ANY 7 star songs. I tried practicing, nothing is working for me. What should I do?

Yeh, IIDX and Pop'n aren't like DDR where you can give someone specific advice like "practice gallops"....just keep practicing. And try a few easy ones like Presto, route 80s, and 250bpm. Bump up the Hi-Speed too.

Actually, in that repect, yes you can. There are certain songs in each bemani that would require you to. say, practice scales, cords (multiple keys at a time), etc.

But in your case, basics, just keep practicing. You've heard it before, but this really is the only way to get better. It's common sense, but the best advice for getting better at any Bemani.

Also, play different songs as well, this helped me a bit so that when i see more notes (particularly in 3's or 4's) it's not as confusing and I learned to react to it a little better (my grades are getting higher) and what-not.

Use speed mods like I do, so you can pass songs that you wouldn't even be able to touch otherwise! After that, you can feel like a crappy cheater! E4.gif Well, it's true. Some songs you NEED mods for! You barely even see Happy Weddings gallops (do they have a different term in Beatmania...) on HS1!
