Usually Matsuri Japan is about where it starts in high gear, though.

Almost any song above a 6 will get me to at least get a little glow, but 9's and 10's are the ones that get me dripping with sweat. ^^;

I think I agree with everyone by saying that almost every song makes me sweat. Now, the songs that make me sweat in the beginning when I'm about to play and pick the first song is probably Can't Stopo Falling in Love (Speed Mix). And a few 9 footers also.

Most songs about 6 steps make me sweat. Some songs, (Rhythm and Police heavy) are songs you don't want to be near me after.

Hmmm... I only start to sweat really bad after either:

1) Playing songs 7 feet or higher for half an hour...
or
2) Playing songs like PSM... heck... I sweat even when I fail at it...

when playing in an air conditioned area i usually sweat after 15-20 minutes.... but when i play at the pavillion in garden city (open air right by the beach) I'm usually sweating within 2 minutes of getting out of the car let alone playing

no one song will make me sweat, even 10 footers (scary huh?).

rather...I sweat VERY profusely after roughly three rounds of playing (three games each).

who else sweats like this?

Generally, I sweat during songs with complex 1/8th note patterns, so 2 of the worst songs for me (as far as sweating goes) are Rhythm & Police and Daikenkai. Other songs, even if they have fairly quick 1/8th step patterns, if they aren't complex (Read: A heavy), I don't start sweating.

I used to swear after one round of Daikenkai. But now, its more of a longterm thing. I can play any one song without sweating. Like the other dude above me. It usually takes a couple round before a start sweating. And if All those are 9-footers which they frequently are. I can slide better on the pad. *not kidding...* My shoes start squeaking and sliding because there is a shiny layer on the arcade pads!

I'll get a little tired doing anything on heavy but when it comes to sweating i'll really be dripping weat when i do Burning Heat (heavy),Little B*tch (challenge,i get hot to this song because its one of the few i dont use a bar to...sorry guys),and rythem and police (heavy,i cant even finish the song unless its my first song for the day because i get so tired through it so fast!).

Just about any song makes me sweat. Even if I play a bunch of light songs in a row I sweat due to the concentration needed when I PA. DDR is both physically and mentally demanding.
