shadowing

i don't know if this belongs anywhere else, i would assume here..

am i the only person who doesn't mind if people shadow me? i don't mean, coming up and saying "that's so easy!", that's kinda bragging and... rude. i mean walking up and taking the other pad if im on single. honestly, if people want to shadow, or play versus, i dont care, i like playing with different people, i say go right ahead..

i was just wondering why this irks other people. and if it does, i have another question: if you mind if people shadow you on the pad, what if you notice people shadowing you who aren't on the pad, but just standing around waiting?

im curious, enlighten me.
