what do you think are good foods to eat and bad foods before, during, and after DDRing?
Im mexican and im always eating hot stuff(not that all mexicans do).
but if i eat light amounts of spicy food during DDR i tend to get a stomach ache and, uh, some bad gas. _________________

Any food that gives you gas is bad before playing DDR... Nobody wants to play around that smell...
Chinese food is ok, as long as it's not crazy stuff... Just rice and chicken or beef, stuff like that is usually ok. (General Tso's Chicken, Sesame Seed Chicken, Beef & Broccoli are all ok)
Mexican food is horrible to eat before DDR, same with McDonalds, because they both tend to give people gas, and McDonalds sits in you like a brick. _________________

No food is best, for me. I usually don't eat at all before playing, or if I do, it's only chicken samples from the food court. I find that a lot of water + an empty or nearly empty stomach are best. _________________

Ramen before I go to the mall (or when I play at home), and a spicy chicken wrap from chick-fil-a at the mall when I get there. And at home I'll occasionally snack on doritos or fritos. _________________

i'm a sub sandwich guy, if its from subway or a local spot...
...but if i eat something "heavy"(something that's gonna sit with me for a while) i'll wait several hours before i ddr... or else i play like absolute crap.
anyway interesting side note, i find i play better if i've drank mostly water vs soda during the day.
besides, i don't get really hungry till after i've played... _________________

If I know I'm going to play DDR later, I refuse to eat anything, so I'm not bothered by it. The most I'll have is a cup of water everynow and then to keep hydrated.
But once I'm done... hoo boy....
Let's just say the word "gorge" is an understatement. |

If you want to lose weight, don't eat before you go play. This way you'll burn the fats in your flab instead of the fats in your stomach.
But eat some bananas if you get cramps. _________________

jajaja iam mexican and u say the true eat "gorditas, pozole, or another "special" mexican food" is definitive a bad bad bad idea, however, in my case, i enjoy buying before play ddr the clasic "Mc, Sunday" or "Mc Flurry" in Mc Donald's those ice cream are wonderful!!!!! _________________

I'm usually good with some nachos at my local puttputt. At the mall arcade I prefer to take a break in between and hit the food court for chinese or subway (which isn't always a good idea). _________________

Great. So you're not affected...but other people are different than you are. So they get a chance to voice their opinion just as much as you do. _________________

When I go play, I usually bring along some sort of fruit (usually a banana) and a lot of water. But If I'm hungry, I'll get a burger or something, and I would still be alright. |
