Have any of you ever went to any great lengths to play DDR? Even when something is bad at home, do you still play? E7.gif

When I went to sleepaway camp last summer, we took a trip to a beach-side boardwalk, which had an arcade with a DDR EX machine. It was the first time I'd ever played DDR on a machine (I had the game at home), and I was TOO excited.

I ended up barfing after playing 36 songs in a row without stopping, so, I guess you could say I went to great lengths to keep playing.

This is one of the main reasons I go to the arcade nearly every night.

I would play DDR at anytime, anywhere.

once i was wet from a pool, wearing sandals, and continuisly fell on my buttocks. i stopped after 10 dollars, ripped both sandals, and slightly briused my toes because they kept hitting the machine.

Closest arcade to me is like 35 minutes; not about to drive all that way every day.

Yeah, but did you keep playing after you barfed?

I don't know as I've gone through any great lengths to play, but repeatedly staying up until 4 or 5 in the morning to play when I have to be up at 8 to work is fairly disasterous for my health. Not that it stops me...

When I first bought it on PS2 I played it until 5:30 in the morning and I had to get up at 8 for school.

a 15 minute drive 4 days a week... thats about all...

Then again, when I went to disney(FL) for a wrestling tourny, we went to Universal studios... I decided to play DDR the whole time (this was just after I tore my ACL, so it was quite painful) instead of checking out the rides... It was worth it.

The closest DDR EX machine to me is a couple of miles away, and my only mode of transportation is a bicycle that at one point had a broken spoke in the back wheel and a beat up seat.

Who goes great lengths now!? Huh? Sucka? Whatchoo want? Nah just kiddin' laugh.gif

since I am blessed with having DDR machines within a 10 mile radius of me, I always try to play DDR at least once a day. But to go out on a great length to play DDR, or when something bad at home is happening, I like to go to the arcade and play or chat and watch fellow DDR freaks play when I'm having a bad day or when I don't feel like going home yet...
