This is a link to a preview video for Athens 2004 for PS2. This is an Olympics game with different controls for each event. It seems they chose the style that DDR uses for Womens Floor Exercise!

From watching only this video, I can't see if the "Miss" affects the character's movement or not. _________________

Konami did this also on an old game. I think it was called "ESPN Track and Field". Looks to me that some of the people that did that game are involved with "Athens 2004". And the people making "Athens 2004" isn't Konami, but one of Sony's second party game companies. _________________

But since that's probably as interesting as the steps are gonna get, I'll just stick to DDR... |

Was that really in-game animation? Looked like live-action... pretty cool. |

I read a review about this game a week ago. I think its cool that they r doing part of it like ddr. I do track & field, but it doesn't seem like it will b a very good game. |

I got this game and it seems a bit disappointing so far. As far as I can tell, they only have a total of 3 different step patterns (Easy, Medium, Hard), for only 1 song. So far, everyone has done the same gymnastics routine in the Womens Floor Exercise portion of the game.
Someone please prove me wrong! I know that this is not a DDR game and it has a great variety of different events, but a little variety WITHIN the events would have added a lot more replay value to the game.
