I know there are Basic Members (yellow), Trick Members (pink), Moderators (Light green), and Administrators (Purple)...
But what is this new "Staff Member" foot? (Dark Green)
I've seen dj 8-ball with it. Can anyone please help to clarify the difference between this new foot and the others? _________________

You'll also notice more old moderators with the new foot as well. It's a staff member foot, and we will be using it as we reorganize the moderation at the forums. You'll notice the assignments at many of the forums have been changed as well. _________________

I'm suprised it took a full 24 hours for someone to post about it.
We did a moderator reorganization recently, including some of our moderators moving to a staff position (with no moderator powers). They are still assisting with the site, but they are no longer moderating the forums. That is the new darker green foot you've seen.
You'll also notice that some moderators have moved positions on the forum listings as well. We did this to try to cover holes left by those moving to staff and to make adjustments to forums that need more/less moderation.
We also added Shinmizu as a moderator.
Hope that explains it! _________________

ok, that explains why Phi isn't listed on simulators anymore. I was going to ask what was up with the new assignments, but now it all makes sense :0) |

Just so you know: Pretty much everyone (with the exception of sherl0k and shinmizu I believe) are global mods. This means that they can take care of any situation anywhere on the forums.
So PM the mod(s) who have their name on the forum first, but if they aren't around you can PM pretty much any other moderator to deal with it. _________________

Shinmizu is the only non-global right now, FYI. _________________
