I'm thinking of making a petition to get DDR machines fix properly instead of the arcade manager just putting in a different CPU every time it breaks E18.gif . I hate the fact that the manager would just put the least amount of effort to fixing the DDR machines. I can't (or other DDR players if they feel the same way)let it go on anymore. E2.gif I need help getting stated with this. Can anyone help me out on how to get started. E-mail me please at [email protected] or [email protected] Thanks a lot for the support.[/url]

I hardly think this is an epidemic...and if an arcade part is broken, what's so bad about replacing it?

If there is an issue of neglect at your local arcade, you should look to get a petition signed by other customers of that arcade. An arcade manager is not likely to care what a bunch of DDR players on the other side of the country think, he/she is going to care about the money that he can make if he does keep the machine in good order. Your best bet is to find other players at your arcade (maybe check the regional forum for your area) and get a paper petition and basic presentation together to convince your arcade manager about the benefits of maintaining the machine.

But it's their jobs to fix the arcade games in their store. Why should you have to convince them to to do thier job. E19.gif

Hence, that's what they get paid to do while they are there. I'm having the same problem with one of the arcades in my area, and it's pretty sad. They should have the parts at the ready in case something goes wrong.

I'm pretty sure if you bought a car from a dealership you're not going to have to go back there and beg them to fix your car if it's still under warrenty.

An arcade manager essentially owns the arcade and all of the games in it. It is technically not his/her job to keep the machines in working order, but usually he/she does because it makes more money that way. If an arcade manager doesn't keep things in working in order, there really isn't much you can do about it except try to convince him/her otherwise. Simply put, arcade managers don't have any kind of obligation to keep the machines clean and working.
