According to the StepMania developers, no, it does not work with DDR mats.
However, you can buy the EMS USB2 adapter at lik-sang.com, which works beatifully.
Not trying to be 1337157 or mean, but you should've posted this question in DDR Simulators section in the USB adapters FAQ thread. |

The first one you had will work fine. My sister and I have it, but we have one in clear plastic. Other than that they are exactly the same. We have used it for a month or 2 now and have not had any problems what so ever. |

look, the question has been answered. in both this thread and in the adapter thread that I tend to field questions in. super joy box is a generic adapter...red octane sells the exact same adapter under their own brand name, as do a dozen other companies. it doesn't matter (for the most part) what brand it is. please do not post here anymore...there is a specific thread for adapter questions. there is no need to post further in this one, as the original poster has had his question answered by me in aim.
