It must be just the way I'm made. I sweat like crazy. I'll warm up with something like Absolute on Standard, or Bre\-/k Down on Standard and I'll be dripping with sweat when I'm done. Does anybody else sweat easily? _________________

Well, that seems like that's a problem that can be solved by just pushing yourself past that sweat-induced limit.
Your endurance needs work, and you can make it so. _________________

Building endurance doesn't reduce the output of your sweat glands. |

...but it will make the body better used to the workload, so his body won't overheat as fast, or at that intensity. In effect, he still wouldn't sweat as much.
Anyway, my friend Neemo, who's a user here, also says he sweats like mad, so you're not alone. |

Not necessarily. I sweat just as much now (I'm not in shape that much right now ) as when I was at the peak of excercising. _________________

You're gonna sweat either way. Just think of it as relaxation from the waste in your blood. Or cleansing the pores, or whatever floats your boat on this one. _________________

I sweat along a spectrum as it were. On the far left where I sweat the least would be where I'm surfing crappy forums. Then as we increase physical labor it increases. I'll be working, doing light lifting, or running around alot and beads of sweat will form on my nose. Playing DDR falls from the middle all the way to the right depending on the song difficulty. 5 footers make me sweat lightly, and 10 footers make me pour sweat out almost as much as I do when I'm masturbating. I sweat ALOT when I masturbate.
Edit: You're welcome, Bio. _________________

The first 3 songs (standard songs) get my sweat going. Usually I get a few beads on my face and neck, and basically my legs, and back are damp as well as my garments.
My arms feel a tad bit of dampness. |

Well, it depends on how big you are too... I'm a bigger guy, so when I work out playing DDR, I sweat alot. I usually bring 2 or three shirts for backups. I always go through one(completely soaked, front, back, down to the bottom), and usually go through the second shirt with the same amount of sweat on it.
The reason bigger people would tend to sweat more, is because (no offence) the fat on their body keeps them warmer, so their body tempeture rises easier. People sweat to help control and cool off their body temp., so bigger people sweat more to control the temp. better.
Conditioning really doesn't have too much to do with how much you sweat, it's more or less how much you need to be cooled off,and how hard you are working. Also, the amount of time you take in between songs, and then inbetween sets can influence your sweat-amount too.
Theres my input from one sweaty person to another. _________________

While breathing hard prematurely is a sign of being out of shape, sweating is the opposite.
The healthier / more fit you are, the sooner and faster your body will start sweating. Your body is more prepared for what is coming and starts sweating sooner - a sort of pavlovian response.
Conversly, a sign of someone suffering from heat stroke/over heating is that they are *dry* when they should be sweating.
Just drink a lot of water - a gallon a day or more for those of you who typically hit DDR for over an hour - and lay off the booze. _________________

I played at the arcade for about an hour, and my light gray shirt was completely a dark gray... and the dance pads arrows were squeaky with my shoes... i looked like i just got out of a pool *literally* that was an exceptionally rare occasion i might add, usually i'm just moist and have half my shirt wet...
Just thought I'd add, I don't sweat alot when I masterbate tho... _________________

Well I Am Forced To Agree With The Whole Endurence Building Theory. I Dont Sweat As Much As It Did Before i Danced 36 Songs In A Row, Twice, One 2 Days After The Other. It Usually Takes A Bit To Get Me Breathing Let Alone Sweat... Then Again Ive Been Distance Running For A Few Years so That May help. |
