People that throw you off while playing ddr

well I made this topic because some people wont shut up when I play ddr and it throws me off. Like when im playing max unlimited i dont want to shake your hand or tell you my best song. I hate that

I thought you meant they literally threw you off. Just ignore them or tell them you're busy.

I do really hate it when people come up to me and try to talk to me in the middle of a song, especially if it's one where I have to concentrate. I usually just wave a hand in their general direction to tell them to stop, then talk to them between songs.

People that throw me off are ones who think its funny to step on an arrow, regardless of if i need that arrow at the time or not it throws me off, pisses me off, and I've ripped people out for doing that. *call it a pet peeve, it really irritates me*

Dude! That's exactly how I do stuff: multitask. Except when I'm playing DDR, usually nobody bothers me because the crowd I'm around knows how much concentration it takes and they usually leave me alone. But once in a while, one of my buddies will sit there and be all like, "Don't screw it Matt, you're gonna lose, you're gone. Fail. Miss" and that pisses me off. But I usually do better than him anyway despite that.

today i went over to an arcade and this guy came up to me in the middle of Paranoia and gets right in front of the scrren just to put his token on the machine and made me get like a C i was pissed

they dont ask me in middle of the song . they ask me when im selecting the song. they be asking me try to play Healing Vision....

I was like i cant hear u bc the machine was damn loud.

i heard him the 5th time he asked me....

i told him i cant play that song bc i suck at that song. im still on light mode on that song. for the rest of the song list, im good only on ddr max 2 7th mix but suck on ddr extreme.... but im pretty good though... so im not complaining bout people asking me. they dont ask me in the middle of the song only when im selecting the song or some crap...

When someone tells me i'm hitting the arrows to fast or to slow while i'm playing a song. It totally screws me up.

Well, i just encountered my first DDR jerk.
I was playing doubles, this guy jumped right on the pad and went screwing around, i kept bumping into him and he wouldn't get off, and i failed.

My friend screwed me up i dont know if he did it to screw me up or not but he spilled water or something on one of my soft pads and I was fsing and i sliped and fell right on my face and i didnt know you did it so i didnt know whos head to rip off

The following people distract me:
-Idiots who hang around the machine just to make fun of the people who play it.
-Idiots who stand around and say "pfft. That's easy. ANYONE could do that" when I'm trying to stay alive on my third 10 footer in a row.
-When I'm playing with someone who's better than me. I know its not nice but I think too much about wanting to win and not enough about the game itself
That's it. I've never had anyone screw around with the machine while I was on it, and as long as they don't have anything stupid to say, I don't mind spectators talking about me.

i kinda like it when people compliment my dancing and talk about me when im dancing. as for people screwing me up, none really...you could be screaming at me and i wud keep my concentration. the only thing that messes me up is when my kitten comes and sits smack dab in the middle of the pad...tehe
