High Score Input

Although not many people get the luxery of inputting your name when you get a high score at DDR, but has anyone found it "annoying" to input your name like that?

We're already frickin tired from the dang difficult song and they insist we input our name by using the pad

To me, it would be perfectly ok if they just use the input name with the arrows and the button in the middle of the arrows.

Side note: Does anyone know the average cost of DDR pads at the Anime Expo in Aniheim, CA?
