Could anyone help me find a walk-through of how to convert a completely functional DDR Extreme machine into a completely functional Stepmania machine? I've searched a ton of places, but none have been quite as helpful as I need them to be. Please! A detailed showing of it would be quite nice. Pictures of the process would be infinitely appreciated, too!

Yes, but what are the connectors for the pads and the front buttons? How should we connect them to the computer?

Mmk, so many more songs to be had. IMO, SM is much better than DDRE.

So, yeah, I'm bumpin' this up cause I'm really interested in seeing if anyone has any info for the conversion. And also, I know legality may be an issue, and I skimmed over another thread somewhere on the board that said homemade machines were fine as long as they weren't for profit. So... does that mean it has to be free to be legal? Mmm.

Info PLEASE!!!
