Can anybody tell me why my MAX and MAX2 system data might be going corrupt so often? All of my other game save data is fine, but my DDR stuff keeps going corrupt, deleting all of my records, songs, etc. does anybody else have this problem and is there any way to avoid it?

This belongs in the console games thread...but I'll tell you anyway.

The best thing to do is to turn off the Autosave option. Oh, and after saving manually, wait about 10-15 seconds to turn off the console so that it can get everything saved. Haven't had a corrupt in at least 2 months since hearing about this. happy.gif

If you have 2 or more memory cards, this is another solution if the corruption keeps happening. Keep a copy of your system data for each game on a spare memory card. That way, you can just transfer your data from one card to another if corruptions keep happening.

Memory cards that require a disc to turn on don't usualy go currupt. That has only happened to me once and I've had a Disc Memory card the whole time I've had a PS2. I hope that helps. If not, I recommend what Surfer_Clock said about waiting about 10-15 seconds....
