DDR at school

my friend brought his metal pads to school today(last day of school) and we rocked...we got a lot of people to play that have never played before....it was a lot of fun, tell me about other DDr in school experiences....

it isn't a club, because our administrators are sorta sstrict...a teacher of mine let us put it is her room and we have DDR MAX and Max2

man thats still cool, theres not to many people that play ddr around here it sux i mean sure we have a machine in like every arcade but its all peopoe who dont know what it is and suck, but rarely do i play with people

lol noone will trun me to the pump-it up side, i can't stand those arrows, they hurt my legs trying to reach for em, even tho i do have flexability i don't feel like risking me hurting my groin muscles. Yea right now I don't have a good home pad to practice on, my down arrow is messed up and usually if i want to play i duct tape it to plywood, can't wait for my CF pads, oh yea I B'd CSFIL, and Paranoia Evolution, Paranoia Max Dirty Mix, and Paranoia KCET Clean mix on heavy, and I got a C on Break Down Heavy Today, not exactly my best but good for not playing those songs for the first time or not playing them for a month lol.

That's really good. The only song I can play on Heavy is Look to the Sky, well not anymore becuase my pad aon't stay in one place, even on a one footer. (I know this because I'm teaching this kid to play and he really sucks alot.)

*Looks at your sig.* I made it about 3/4 through standard mod Max 300 and lost. Once I finish cleaning (about when 3:45 rolls around). Lol, I just heard some femmenist guy announcing the DDRFreak Live365 station.

. IT sounded like someting you'd hear in an american pie.

Well anyway, back to the subject. I got a D in Look to the Sky Heavy (I know, I really suck). But I'm making progress (As soon as I find the duct tape). I'm putting heavy stuff on my pad to try and keep it down. It still doesn't work, andon top of that, it's a Mad Catz. Hey, it's the only thing I could afford.

yea the pad i have is madcats and thats what i pass most of my songs on, that or arcade. here are some tips, if you can duct tape it to a tile/ vinyl flor, and play with your shoes on, paying with your shoes on will make you use to playing w/ shoes and also will make the pad respond better, it may hurt you pad in the long run if you stomp on the songs i do, my down arrow is almost busted lol. anyway next year i think i am going to bring ddr to school more often, only play on the controller, lol

Well I have medium thick carpet and the duct tape works just fine, I just can't find it since I had to duct tape it to the the floor at school. I am very used to play with my shoes on since the way I play I don't really flex my feet that much. I just wish I had a metal pad and I wouldn't have to worry at all.

I played DDR twice at school and now people that watched me and my friend think it's the gayest thing on the planet and consider us gay (Really dumb don't ya think?). As if we wern't already unpopular enough.

maybe when I find the Duct tape I'll start getting into heavy mode. I thought of doing the pad mod featured on this site. I just want to get good enough to get into tourneys, that's all. But above all, I love entering an arcade and just blowing the owners away when I play DDR in the Arcade. I usualy get a croud surrounding me. If you havn't done that yet, you should try that.
