The soft pad Sticky...

Am I the only one that considers the soft pad sticky to be cluttered??? the mods redirect EVERYTHING that has to do with soft pads to that sticky... How is anything supposed to get helped when it gets cluttered with 66 pages of posts that are on such a wide topic???

yeah, probably... i just saw like 8 different threads pertaining to totally different subjects. but because they all had to do with soft pads, they were told to go to the soft pad forum... There ya go, have a section where any topics pertaining to soft pads go. Not one big soft pad topic... Just a thought.

thats exactly what the problem is. Topics are supposed to stay on exactly that, one topic. if you ask a question about ignition pads, i ask one about modding, and someone else asks why their dance pad broke, who is really gonna go there just to answer all those questions. The purpose of multiple topics is to bring attention with the title. Your more likely going to click the link that says, "Awesome new mod for Soft Pads." rather than check the soft pad sticky to see if there is anything interesting or new.

It's one big circle. Everyone complains about how slow the forums are, and sometime about clutter, and so on and so forth.

We attempt to speed up the server by localizing those very common topics, so they all go into one stickey. It's not *THAT* hard to start from a post you make and go forward to see if someone answers your question. It might be if you check once a week, but that's a bit long of a time to ask a question, then walk away from, and come back to.

As for your suggestion about Soft Pad Modding thread, it might be worth it to make a Soft+Metal Pad Modding thread, because modding of all kinds are all the rage nowadays. ~Maybe.~

I'll talk the suggestion over with others and see what we can come up with.

Until then, stick to the stickey (hur hur...), it's not that bad to keep up with.
