OK. I Know you folks get questions like this all the time...so anyway.
I've had my EMS usb2 adaptor for quite a while. I stopped playing a while back and i now want to get back into ddr. I installed the drivers that came with the adaptor and then connected the adaptor (like the instructions said) and windows kicks me in the face and says that the device can not be used and sees it as an unknown device. i'm running winxp and if any of you have suggestions to fix my prob, it would be greatly appreciated. |

Do you have any other computers? Try using a different computer if you have one. Also, what version of WinXP are you using (eg. Professional, Media Center Edition, Home Edition, etc ). If all your computers/other computer are all different OS'es, test it out. If their all different versions of WINXP, test it out. If there all the same, try re-installing the drivers or download the updated ones at ddruk.com .

okay, first thing, make sure the switch on the adaptor didn't get accidentally switched to "game" from "PC" I did that once, I've had a virus on the computer that I've ignored for a while, and now I couldn't play stepmania, so I went and reformatted the damn thing, and it still didn't work... major frustration, then I realized that the only problem was the switch was set to the wrong setting.... >.< |

nope it's definatly set to pc. I can't figure this thing out and it's really starting to bug me!
EDIT: I looked in the device manager and it said the drivers weren't installed...even though I did install them. and i tried installing them manually from the .ini but windows said it didn't have any info about my hardware |
