I'm trying to compile a list of all the Konami Original songs by artist name. I've been using the Konamix and Max US manuals to help (lists of artist aliases and songs that give hints to other aliases, etc) but they are no good for anything past around 6th. If anyone can help with these questions, it'd be very much appreciated.

First of all, the top names: NAOKI, Sota, Sho-T, U1-ASAMi, Caramel S, Akira Yamaoka, DJ Taka, LED, TaQ, Togo, good-cool, Shawn the Horny Master, Jimmy Weckl. This is the list of Seperate Human Beings. Am I missing any?

Secondly, I'm assuming most of these are aliases, and I need to know whose aliases they are. Some towards the bottom are from the Other Bemani sections of Extreme, so they might be Seperate Human Beings I don't know about yet. Some might be licences I didn't recognize as I compiled this list. Any help sorting this out would be invaluable.
-DJ Nagureo
-DJ Amuro
-Mr. T
-DJ Suwami
-Final Offset
-Slake
-Big-O
-Symphonic Defoggers
-Mr. Dog
-DJ Swan
-jun
-Tiger Yamato
-Chel Y
-Supa Fova
-S.F.M.P.
-SDMS
-DJ Simon
-D-crew
-DJ Spunga
-Aska
-youhei shimizu
-Des-ROW
-a.s.a.
-Kunitake Miyuki
-Mutsuhiko Izumi
-Anettai Maji - Ska Bakudan
-Hirofumi Sasaki
-Hiro feat. Sweet Little 30s
-T.E.M.P.O
-Orange Lounge
-emi
-Kiyommy + Seiya
-Tomosuke
-Vision F
-Terra

Random questions:
-Who created White Lovers? It's credited to Sana, but who made it? (Like, Naoki made Love Love Shine but it's credited to Kosaka Riyu, or U1-ASAMi made Drop the Bomb but it's credited to Scotty D.)
-Who are the DDR All-Stars? I'm guessing it's Paula Terry and Aaron G, but are there any more?

Thanks.

I'm pretty sure shawn the horny master is U1-Asami, just like club spice and NPD3. I'm also pretty sure T.E.M.P.O. is a liscenced artist. Oh, don't forget Mustache Men, the makers of one of the best songs ever: DO ME(H.I.G.E.O. MIX) And Akira Yamoaka.

Shot in the dark here, but I think Des-ROW is not a KO artist, as well as DJ nagero/tiger YAMATO (same person.)

I think DJ Aumro is the same as DJ Taka, but I might be wrong.

I was told DJ Suwami and DJ Swan were the same person. Not sure how accurate that is, though.

DDR artists... creating multiple aliases to make it seem like a lot of people work for them since 1998...

BRILLIANT!!

I think hardly, if any, of those artists are Naoki.

DJ Amuro is supposedly Taka, but I'm not sure, since I don't keep track of these things that much anymore. And I think Aska is an alias of Taka, though I'm not sure.
I think Sweet Sweet Love Magic is credited to Naoki, but jun is not one of his aliases, as far as I know. (and I don't know how accurate I am)
DJ Spunga is an alias of Sho-T, who is also Shoichiro Hirata
I think Thomas Howard was the lead vocalist of Heaven is a '57, so he might be part of Hiro feat. Sweet Little 30s...

I used to know these things more... but now I'm just a Snape freak. riiight.gif

Professor Snape? "Turn to page three hundred and ninety-four" Sorry.

Anyway.

Why do they use so many aliases anyway? I know some were only used for one song and never again. Wouldn't they want to keep the same names on all their work for the sake of artist recognition?

Maybe so it looks like they had many more artists making songs for their games? I'm really not sure why they do that either.

First, the names are used to determine group of songs for one thing. RevenG=world music. De-sire=Drum n bass, etc. Some are just not used again because their stupid. NA-HA! :-P

Second, would you really like to scroll through extreme and see half of the songs listed to Naoki? Trust me, tha logo and name would get old fast. You'd be all "oh, a new naoki song..." But since the names are varied instead its "Ohh... a new RevenG song!" so you're able to find the songs you like easier. Trying to find the kind of songs you like when most of the artists have the same name would be hell. The names narrow it down.

Totally wrong. Osamu Migitera and Reo Nagumo are both KO artists...in fact Reo Nagumo was the sound director for the original Beatmania series (i.e., the Naoki of Beatmania).
