For the people who passed a 10-footer.......

Does anyone here who has passed a 10-footer (except bag on a speed mod or sakura because they're too easy) play any songs on ddr that are eight feet or lower like superstar or holic? All my friends who passed a 10-footer except one don't play anything but 9 or 10 footers. Is it common like that everywhere?

I've beaten nearly every ten-footer, and I drop down quite often. The only thing I can't beat is PSMO, yet I still find time to work Last Message, feeling of love, TwinBee, and A Heavy into the night at least once.

If your friends play nothing but 9's and 10's, then they are what I like to call "Difficulty whores." Anyways, I passed all 10's and passed BaG 1x flat just because I wanted to see how well I knew the song, but I just play what sounds good at that time. Hell, I'll even play Think Ya Better D, and that's a 5 just because I feel like it.

I've passed MAX300 several times (up to a B now), along with a B on Paranoia Survivor, and C on MaxX. But I still always go back for the fun stuff, which usually happen to be 7 or 8 footers for me. It doesn't have to be hard for me to play it, it just has to be fun.

i've passed every song on Ex no mods, I still play a lot of the easier songs just because they are good songs...I play for the music not the steps hence if I really like a song i'll play it or if i freestyle...well that's an entirely different story right there

I've passed all of the 10 foot songs and songs in those foot ratings are usually the difficulty I play being I'm into PA. Your friends are probably just into passing songs, not scores.

To answer the OP's question, yes. I consider all the 10-foot songs to be retarded(except for Genom Screams Doubles), and I'll only play them if I get really bored.

Give your friends a good slappin'. I'd be more impressed to see someone AA Tsugaru Standard, than a B on Max 300.

I've passed all the 10's (including PSMO) and I mostly play 10's to accomplish things such as AA it or something, when I do it play them a lot but besides that I mostly play 7s and 8s

maybe because theyre playing tens, theyll think theyll become better at lower footers, but thats my reason.

I also have passed all ten-footers cept genome screams heavy dubs and psmo (why has no one done this difficulty? I've only tried it the first time today on heavy, passed with a b, the only hard part seemed to be the part where paranoia survivor ended and paranoia survivor max begins there's all those random gallops.)

Anywhore, I still love the platinum songs (as in Naoki Platinum oni, i.e., Celebrate Nite Euro, B4U B4 za Beat, Dynamite Rave B4 Za Beat, etc.)

Songs with fun steps earn as much play time as nine and ten-footers.

Extra Stages all go to Max 300, though.
