And by working, I mean perfectly, with no lags or problems. If you do, what set-up do you have?

Currently I have two USB adapters, a SmartJoy Plus, and an EMS USB2 adapter. The first does not work at all with my CF, and the second works but with a very noticeable delay between the pressing of the button and it registering. I'd really like to try to get my CF working with stepmania, so if anyone has managed to get it working perfectly, I'd really like some help from them. Advice on how to get my USB adapters working or another set-up that does work or any other help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I do. I have two V1's hooked up with the EMS USB2 adapter. My adapter is black (I think that might be an earlier model?), and there is *no* lag. my friend AAA'ed a song before, I think that's enough proof. Also, what setting do you have your perfect window on? I put mine on 3, which I think is most similar to home, so it blends with my home mixes. What operating system are you running on? It's been said that you don't need to install the drivers if you Windows XP. I got the drivers online at levelsix.com cuz I lost the disk, but make sure that you install the drivers. I think that might be your problem, but I'm really not too informed about this topic. I recommend also posting this at cobaltflux.com forums, you might get a better response there, and if there is a problem with the CF itself, it might be better addressed. I hope that helps.

Unfortunately... I do E2.gif

I say unfortunately because i basically LEARNED ddr on stepmania (bad move). I played on it for about 7 months. The timing is incredibly early on stepmania with a converter. When i finally went to the arcade, i was getting more greats than perfects on almost every song i played!
It totally destroyed my arcade ability.

I recently got the playstation 2 ddr games (american and japanese mixxes) The timing is much closer to the arcades than my crap stepmania setup. Its so much better playing on a ps2
