I got my DDR game this past Christmas & I am on my 3rd pad & it is messing up too. why do my pads mess up so easily? is it the brand? my 1st pad came with the game & my other 2 are the PS2/ X-Box universal "Beat Pad"s
will someone please tell me what the problem is? |

Odds are that you probably ripped the insides of the soft pad.So next time mod your pad like this.Or try to ask some of these guys for more help. |

does that mod allow you to play with your shoes on without bunching up the pad, or damaging it at all? |

Well I've been using my pad (konami) with a similar mod for 6 months and it's still perfectly fine.
I sometimes play in shoes and many people have played on it at LAN parties.
I used 2mm thick plexiglass instead of "hardwood floor covering", maybe the pad is better protected that way, and it's still very responsive. |
