I am new to DDR and getting ready to order from redoctane.
I dont plan to transport the pads anywhere but will most likely tuck them in a corner for storage. Should I buy a case now or is it easier just to fold them up and tuck them in a corner over putting them in case.
The case is not pricey but I would rather get it now if I am going to need it than pay shipping later.
Ideas?

I usually just tuck my just either leave my pad where it is or slide into a corner. I think you should buy it later first and find out if you really even need the case. I mean I don't think it would be worth it compared to paying nothing to put it away in a corner or something.

Just fold them and put them in a corner although I don't think folding a soft pad would be a good idea. I would just kind of put it there, yeah. E15.gif

A carrying case is an absolute waste of money unless you're going to carry your pads somewhere. If you are talking about the cheap, no-foam-insert pads, then its a waste of money altogether. If you can avoid it, don't fold up your pads at all when you store them...slide them under a bed or couch and leave them flat; this will actually make the wiring last significantly longer. If you buy ignitions, DON'T stand them up in a corner; the foam insert gets warped and causes ghost steps and missteps.

if ur getting the ignition pad then u better think twice because a lot of people on here and people i know got ripped off because ignition pads keep breaking down. they just stop working, mine did in the middle of gameplay. so like i said think twice.anyway unless ur gonna travel around i wont suggest it like others said it seems like a waste of money
