Beatmania help

Hi

I am new to Beatmania. I just picked up Beatmania 2nd mix & ascii controller. My key confihuration seems mixed up. I can't hit any notes in the leftmost column and each of the white keys seems to be hitting notes 1 column to the righ. The blue/black keys seem fine. I am I doing something wrong? Is there a compatibilty issue with PSOne?

Sounds like it's set to the PSX controller configuration.

Go to options, then to controller/button configuration, and make sure it's set to the Beatmania controller (or Original).
