PS2 Extension cable will not work with Cobalt Flux

I'm trying to get my cobalt flux pads setup for a wireless stepmania solution.

So far, the PS2 wireless RF adapters (into a PS2) do not work.

I tried PS2 extension cords (Again into a PS2) and while they technically work, the timing is all screwed up, especially for the right arrow and songs I would normally A or AA turn into D or E -- unacceptable.

Still looking for a way to extend the cobalt flux signal -- first to the PS2, then obviously into the computer.
