Threads that has most replies

I'm wondering, do you guys have any ideas what threads have the most replies? So far, I have found one in the New York board: DDR: Word AssociationBy far has like 429, somthing replies!

Are there any others that has a similar amt or larger replies?

429 pages * 20 posts per page = 8580 replies.

I asked this question about a year ago, when my local thread was actually neck-and-neck in postcount with a regional thread in Mid-Atlantic. Our thread hit postbug and got locked at about 255 pages, but the Mid-A thread kept going.

At that time, though, I was told that our thread was nothing compared to some of the threads in Random Chat.

The record-breakers may not exist anymore, however - They may have since been archived. I don't ever go to RC (because I'm an RC-hater!

), so I dunno myself.

The DDR Word Association is the largest thread on DDR Freak. Worst thing is, it's possibly the same 12 users for most of it.

Duh!

So those archived threads, they're only accesible to moderators, right?

And I only thought the "the Return of What You Looked Like" had the most pages of replies. Hrmph!...

Actually, I've deleted multiple large, "postwhoring" threads. I do believe I deleted the "Person Before You" thread. Or some other incredibly large thread.

I post in that topic. I could care less about post count, tis stupid. I really don't think most people post in it to raise there post count to be honest. I probably average about 1 post per page on that topic. It's a tradition thing, its been around for quite some time now. If you look at the people who were originally posting in it, they have all disappeared now.

I seem to remember the "Create a 3 word sentence" back in RC getting a pretty good number of replies/pages. I remember Lenoh and I went off on that thing for 3 pages.

It always amazed me that it wasn't locked sooner.

I think the perversion thread was a postwhoring thread. that got 200+ pages
