Some of you may know Night In Motion by CUBIC22, from 4th mix I believe. If you listen to it, it contains clips from Moby's Party Time, and some others. If you can find any other clips in this song it's stolen from other songs post them here.

I believe the question that needs to be asked is if Konami/CUBIC22 (whoever that may be) got permission from Moby himself to use samples of his work in a song. Otherwise, Konami may indeed expose itself to legal issues. However, this may be very unlikely, knowing how Moby is towards music in general.

Ok... First it was FOURTH MIX. If Moby was going to do anything, he would have done it already.

Secondly, I -think- it's not a Konami original, so if it was a dancemania license, Toshiba Emi could have gotten the permission, and then licensed their song to Konami... which would be perfectly legal.

Also, I don't know if Moby actually created the "party time" samples... they could just be sampling the same material he did. Which could also be legal.

I can only think of one Konami original that has a sample... and it's the voice that says "THE FLY"... from an old techno song called, well, "The Fly."

Ok, before you make another post like this mck, get your facts straight. That "party time!" sample is no one's to claim. Not Moby's, not cubic22, NO ONE! And if you wanna get technical, Moby wasn't the first person to use it either, so I dunno what you're talking about. Anyways, isn't it kinda late to be talking about this since it was like what...3 years ago?

Is it Legend of Max? I keep hearing "the fly" in that song...

samples are not ripoffs. most electronic artists use them. i can think of plenty of ddr songs that have other songs sampled in them.
moby probably wasn't even the original creator of that sample.
