Hehe, DDR's too fast compared to your mouse? Maybe you should adjust the mouse speed so it goes faster.

Don't you mean stepmania, or DWI? Anyhow, since it seems like you've been playing this on your computer, and since your question is somewhat technical, I believe this should go in the Simulators forum, am I correct, Modness?

mart, you're not a mod, don't act like one. he probably has his home version right next to his computer and is switching on and off. and yeah, that's happened to me too.

I didn't act like a mod... I know I'm not one, that's the exact reason I asked if I was correct. The term "Modness" was used in direction of the actual moderators.

I just expressed what I thought... no need to point fingers about it.

Besides, I did not shun the guy, nor was I obnoxious. I just tried to direct his request to the right forum, like many people here do, in a courteous manner.

If you ask for the original post... I guess he wanted to know why his mouse had problems after playing...

If you talk about mine, first post was to direct the guy to what i thought was the right place... second was to explain myself to trick_is_awesome.

Worst thing being... maybe I completely misunderstood the guy...

He reflexes are high from DDR, like baseball, you have to be all tensed up to hit the fast pitches, well hes all tensed up to hit the arrows so he's moving faster than normal, thus it looking like his mouse is slow.

Y'know... that's now crazy at all... that might explain why you hear music at a somewhat lower pitch when you just woke up... This does make sense, indeed.

To get this post back on topic...

The same thing happened to me to last night, after I set the graphic settings on Stepmania too high. Try lowering it the next time you play to find a level that won't mess up you computer.
