Hey, I've been looking around everywhere for some info, and Finally decided to post. However, If I was looking for a Training mode for Stepmania, in which I could slow down the song and beat and arrows and so forth, as they offer in console versions. The only things i can accomplish are slowing down the arrows, the assist tick, and actually recreating the song at a slower rate through an MP3 encoder and what not, then reprogramming the stepfile to a slower beat and blah blah, but that takes toooo long. Just wondering if there was a download, a mod, a mode i'm just not seeing. Any help wold be greatly appreciated.

In the Song Options menu (hold enter when you select a song to enter the Options menu, then press enter to get to the Song Options menu), there are options for the assist tick, rate (song speed), etc. There is only on assist mode that ticks on every step of the song. This is for the latest versions of Stepmania CVS, and I don't remember what the options are on 3.0 or early CVS versions.
