Ok i wanna get a bunch of songs but i don't know how to put them in the setpmania thing can anyone help me?     |

Oh dammit i got the songs and i put them in then i made a package and a folder and thier not there what is wrong know?   |

My mind may be playing tricks on me, but I remember seeing this is SM at some point: is there a way for the songwheel to have folders which can be opened displaying songs?
I have a few mixes on my SM, but I would like to have access to all of them (while they are all still divided by mix) without having to go all the way back to the main menu. |

Yeah, just select ALL MUSIC, which is the first option when you are choosing mixes. The songwheel will show up with the first mix's songs and folders for the other mixes. |

What do you mean you think so? Can't you make sure?
Lets say you have a folder titled "Color". It has the song "Color" in it. You put that folder "Color" in a folder titled "8th Mix". You put the "8th Mix" folder in the "Songs" folder in StepMania. So you final directory should be:
C:\Program Files\StepMania\Songs\8th Mix\Color
You then can add more song folders to that "8th Mix" folder. If that is still confusing, go to http://www.stepmania.com/stepmania/getstarted.php scroll down and read the part about songs. |

Well that sucks. I am using Stepmania X, and I have used All Music many times, but it lists all of the songs instead of separating them. I guess I must check the options or hope for an update. |

It is still confusing even if it is from the site can someone summerize it so a braindead monkey could know it? |

summerizing is what I do best. OK what your gonna do is go into the C drive and find program files. double click on this and find stepmania CVS. double click again. now find the folder labeled songs and go into that. This is where you will have to create your dividing folders. Create a new folder and label it (ex if its a song from 4th mix you would label this folder 4th mix) after you've created this folder go into it and create another folder and label this folder whatever the name of your song is and go into it. in this folder is where you put all of the files pertaining to that particular song. if you want to put more than one song in this dividing folder you get out of your "song name" folder so your back in your "mix" folder and you have to create a new folder for these songs.
