At first I thought,"Hey look at those idiots dancing!" Eventually my friends started to play and they made me try it. After a month I was going to the arcade almost everyday. Then my friends stopped playing and told me to stop. But I didnt listen because I really liked playing and it gave me some sort of thrill. Ive been playing for a year now and havent gone for more than a week without playing.
Thats my story. As for Yasu, Take, and JSB, I really dont know much about them.
Once u really get into the game its like u cant stop.

Ok here's you question-ma-bobbers:

Thoughts and Comments: An overall great game. Awesome for fitness and staying in shape. I guess the only reason people don't play it is because of either the type of music or because they're WIMPS! MWUAHAHAHAHEEE

Favorite Songs: Dynamite Rave, Candy, Max 300, Long Train Running, Burn the Floor, Cartoon Heros.

How: Once upon a time (cuz all good stories start with 'once upon a time') I was at the movie theaters and I decided "Hey! Its that stupid dance game." so one of my friends said, "Hey dude, if you play, ill pay." It was a done deal. But something happened. I didn't do it just for the money. It was...."like two really cool things tied together." It just takes some nerve to get started.

Why: lol. ITS FUN! THAT's WHY!

Relate: it really doesn't. I just like to play it...alot....i wanna play now.....

I have tons of respect for Take and Yasu, but JSB is mostly just an asshole who tries to be funny and just happens to be pretty good at DDR.

Never met JSB but from what I hear it makes me not wanna meet him. Anyway back to the topic. Yeah DDR is great for excercise, is really addictive and fun and I think it makes an awesome topic for an essay. Hell I wrote an essay like that in middle school about it.

Originally for me, DDR started as a fun way to excersize, but as I got into the game more and more, it started to have a large impact on my life. Right now, I'm still playing for two reasons--the competitive desire that is a quality that I have and the friendships I have made. The first is pretty obvious--I like to compete, and therefore I've become a pretty intense PA player. The second goes like this. Sure there are those players who just like to brag and don't acknowledge anyone else's accomplishments, but for the most part, most of my friends that play DDR are great guys/girls and cool people to hang out with. If it wasn't for them, the conversations in between games, and all that good stuff, I don't think I'd still be playing.
