Donkey Konga hitting the USA in September

I don't know if this is old news or not, buuuut...according to this, Donkey Konga is slated for a September release in America on the GameCube. No word on the songlist yet. I have to wonder if Namco and Nintendo are gonna do any localization of it or just leave it as-is. More importantly, though...GAMECUBE GETS A RHYTHM GAME!

WHEE! Assuming the controller is the same as the Japanese one, this will probably convince me to get a Freeloader and import the Japanese game, too.

I'm glad a US version was announced, I didn't want to import because of the memory card problem on Gamecube where Japanese and US game saves cannot exist on the same card. It will automatically format your card or something if you put a US memory card with US game saves in the Gamecube with a Japanese game which I thought I would do by accident because on PS2, I have my Japanese and US saves on the same card so I am used to that.

Both Gamestop and EB have the Freeloader for $4.99 BTW

I just got donkey konga a couple days ago and I love it. It is the best game I have ever played on gamecube. I was able to play it for around 6 hours straight before my eyes were getting blurry and I couldn't read the notes. If you import any gamecube game this should be the one. Also, don't bother with freeloader, just open up your gamecube and region modify it. I was able to modify mine with a little bit of soldering experience and it was only 2 wires.

just out of curiosity..could u kinda play drummania on it..like play 2 player and like put the kongas on stands? and than when ur sopposed 2 clap u hit the drum sticks 2gather..idk im really desperate 4 drummania
