As some of you have seen, I made a ddr machine. Last time you saw it, it looked a little somthing like this...

Well, I finally got my contact paper and put it on the machine, now it looks like this...

The contact paper looks SO much better than the paint. It takes away the wood-like look of the cabinet. Is it flawless? No, it's far from that, but i'm very very happy with it. I'm going to finish the edges with the silver tape which not only helps hold the edges of the contact paper down, it also looks good. Any questions or comments feel free to IM or Email me.

Haha, like the white rag there, it's in about the same place it's at whenever I'm playing on an arcade machine E10.gif

And the tiny computer speakers are a humorous touch too E10.gif

Agreed...if you are going to go through the trouble of making that, I would invest in some respectable speakers...anything is better than those biggrin.gif

I'm sorry, but what the hell? I cant make any sense out of what you said. The speakers my looks crap, but they work fine. It's a whole speaker system, not just thoes two little crappy things. It has a subwoofer and stuff too, so the sound quality is just fine. The machine is far from done, i'm just taking it REAL slow.

Man, you seem to put a lot of time on your '' arcade ''. Hope it will work like a charm. Don't forget to give us some news to know if you succeed ! E1.gif

1. Try being more comprehensive.
2. He probably has a keyboard off to the side to upload songs.
3. What do you think the buttons are for? Ever heard of WIRING. He;s wired the yellow and green buttons to the select buttons. Duh. I think. Either that or he uses the pad right now.

Yes, I do have a keyboard, And yes thoes buttons are usable and are wired up. I dont even have to touch the keyboard, I turn on the computer and it starts up. So i really dont know what your saying, the ledgendofsakura, because I havent run into any big problem's yet.

It's not home made, it's just in a home made stand.

Geez, you guys...

It looks like a RedOctane or a RO-clone. Look at the corner pieces. Of course, the cable is white and not black, so I'm probably wrong.

Anyway, this thread is about the cabinet, not about what kind of pad he has based on the top three inches of his picture...

You're correct! It's a crappy ro-clone, and the cable is white because it is actually 3 cords taped together to eliminate the mess.
